Is it safe to crack raw egg into cooked rice when making a stir fry?

Rather than fry the egg separately as an omelet or scrambled, I just put the cooked boiled rice into the wok and then cracked the egg directly into the rice and just mixed it in. Just wondering if the egg will still cook properly this way as I didn't see the egg at all, it obviously just mixed in without being visible. I have already eaten it so hoping I don't get food poising after! Would just like my mind put at rest that this is ok as I've not cooked it this way before, I wanted to make it quickly and couldn't be bothered to do it separately.
