If the new yahoo mail does not work on the Ipad, how long will the classic mail system be available?

I have the original Ipad. The new yahoo mail system does not work properly on the Ipad but does work okay on the Ipad when using the yahoo classic mail system. I switched my primary mail account from Qwest.com when they changed to a new mail system because it did not work on the Ipad platform. Now, it seems I will be going through this problem all over again when you discontinue the classic mail system. If the classic system does not remain in use, I will simply leave this system and find one that will work with the Ipad. I hope you do not intend to discontinue the classic system, which works just fine on the Ipad. I have tried the new beta version of Yahoo mail and it does not work properly on the Ipad. Please tell me that the classic version will be available for us Ipad users!
