My Yahoo Beta mail won't compose or reply?

I just switched from classic to beta and now I can't compose ( it does nothing when I click the button) and the same with clicking the reply button. The troubleshooting options make no sense because one requires I start composing an email to change something and the other wants me to check a box that doesn't exist
