Is it possible that Ames on this season of the Bachelorette is Bi/Gay?

I'm watching tonight's episode of the Bachelorette and Im loving Ashley's date with Ames. My only hesitation is that I'm kind of getting a feeling that maybe Ames is either Bi/or gay. Here's what I noticed in tonight's episode that makes me ask: 1 Ames made mention of a past relationship but he never says my girlfriend or my ex wife, he simply says uses the word "relationship" which leaves the sex of the other person very vague 2. during there date at no time did he kiss her or try to be physical in any way shape or form. All the other men in the house immediately went in for kisses and make out sessions but not Ames 3. I noticed in their conversation there seemed to be a lot of attention paid to the word "woman" in asking the question what are you looking for in a woman .4 Lastly I noticed Ames is extremely well poised and very fashionable. Is it possible that Ames isn't so into women? what do you guys think?
